Unfortunately, there aren’t any Nerja 5 star hotels, but you can stay at a four star Nerja hotel that has nice rooms and excellent services like the Hotel Balcon de Europa and the Hotel Perla Marina, and there are also plenty of friendly and affordable 3 star hotels.

Vincci Selección Posada del Patio – Malaga
This hotel is the only 5 star hotel in the city of Malaga, which is an hour away from Nerja. Newly built, it is located near the historic district, and has 109 rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, internet service, satellite television, a minibar and safe. It also has an excellent Mediterranean restaurant and five function rooms.
Marbella Club Hotel – Marbella
This hotel calls itself a ‘blend of privacy and gardens’, a beachfront hotel with 84 rooms and 37 suites. It is located next to an 800-metre state-of-the-art spa complex, an 18 hole golf course and riding stables.
Torrequebrada Hotel – Benalmadena
This beautiful 5 star hotel has 350 rooms, each with a sea-view terrace. It also has five restaurants, a cafe and a bar, offering a wide array of gastronomic delights. It is best known for its casino, though, which was established in 1979.
The hotel also has a spa center, sauna and gymnasium, while golf courses can be found just nearby.
Hotel La Cala – Mijas
Built in traditional Andalusian style, and with superb views of the surrounding golf courses, this hotel is certainly an ideal holiday base. Its Caracala Spa has innovative facilities and a wide range of health treatments while its three 18-hole championship courses are some of the best on the Costa del Sol.
Rio Real Hotel – Marbella
This hotel may just have 29 suites but each one is very spacious, well-designed and comes with a luxurious bathroom. The Albatros Suite, which is the most expensive, has a separate living room and a large terrace overlooking its renowned golf course. The spa offers some additional treats, as well.

Then again, if you want to just stay in Nerja, you will have plenty of great accommodations to choose from and with all the splendid views the town has to offer, its unique charm and lovely beaches, you don’t need to stay in Nerja 5 star hotels to have a truly amazing vacation.
